Day 1 - Ubud & Kintamani Highlights - 10-Hour Day

  • 08:00 — Hotel pickup in Ubud area by private air-conditioned vehicle.
  • 08:30–09:30 — Visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace: gentle walk, photo stops and optional short trek along the terraces.
  • 10:00–11:00 — Tegenungan Waterfall: short walk to the viewpoint, free time for photos and to feel the falls' mist.
  • 11:30–12:30 — Ubud Monkey Forest and quick stroll through Ubud Palace/Market area for culture and crafts (time to browse traditional markets).
  • 13:00–14:00 — Lunch at a local restaurant in Kintamani with panoramic views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur.
  • 14:15–15:00 — Kintamani viewpoint: scenic lookout, photos and relaxation while your guide shares local volcanic stories.

Important Information

Pickup is available from hotels in central Ubud and nearby areas; please provide your pickup location and preferred time. The tour runs approximately 10 hours — typical schedule is 08:00 to 18:00 but times can be adjusted on request. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hat, and a light jacket for Kintamani’s cooler highland air are recommended. Not suitable for travelers with severe mobility issues due to steps and uneven paths at some sites. Children must be supervised at all times in the Monkey Forest and near water. Weather can affect visibility at Mount Batur; alternate viewpoints will be used if necessary.
